1900's Mandolin Banjo - Banjolin
Pictures of the 1900's Mandolin Banjo before and after repair.
Fully stripped and cleaned with neck and neck stick perch pole removed.
Repair to cracked heel, reassemble and action checked.
New machine heads fitted with new bridge.
Fret and fret ends dressed.
To keep costs low, nails in tail piece replaced with bent pins, vellum patched inside with old vellum.
Pot veneer stabilised and overall lightly French polished.
Strung with Pyramid 529 light gauge (.009"-.032") silver plated loop end Mandolin strings.
